Dog jumps for joy at leaving his animal shelter cage to go home with his new family

Those homeless animals who are rescued from the streets and placed in a shelter are considered lucky but their journey isn’t over as they wait for a new home.

These dogs have to be placed in cages within shelters and I can’t imagine how painful it must be watching other dogs being let out of their cages to go home with a new owner.

Benny was an 8-month-old pit bull who captured the hearts of everyone who worked at the shelter but it took a while for him to find his forever home.

He stayed at Carson Animal Shelter in Gardena, California, where his tail wagged every time an adult walked past his cage.

But when he was adopted staff recorded his walk of freedom as he left the shelter and it has captured the hearts of animal lovers all over the world.

His reaction to leaving the shelter and going home with his new family is pure joy. The video has attracted over 50,000 reactions.

Watch the moment that Benny realizes he’s leaving the shelter and going home with his new family in the clip below.

This special little guy captured the hearts of everyone who stopped by his kennel. He hit the jackpot when this beautiful family chose to take him home. Thanks for all you SHARING, checkout his FREEDOM WALK filled with lots of jumps and tail wagging!
