It’s amazing how caring and intuitive dogs can be. Even stray dogs will come to the rescue when they sense someone is in trouble.
Some inspiring photos show how one dog stepped up to protect someone who needed him the most.
A man named Ake Srisuwan, from Thailand, spotted two dogs down by the water… and a person lying on the ground:
He got a closer look and realized what was happening.
It was a blind, homeless elderly woman, lying asleep in the muddy river bank. The two dogs were strays, but had found the woman and seemingly instinctively stayed to protect her.
According to a Nepali news site, Ake asked around the neighborhood and confirmed the woman was homeless—neighbors suspected she may have been drunk and inadvertently passed out in the dangerous area.
Luckily, she wasn’t there for long—and neither were the heroic dogs. All of them were taken to the hospital for treatment.
Bless these dogs for protecting this woman in need! It shows how kind and loving animals can be.
