Bindi Irwin returns from social media hiatus, shares precious pics of her baby with kangaroos & dog

The Irwins are some of the most popular animal heroes today. The family of of the late Crocodile Hunter star Steve Irwin have been carrying on his iconic legacy, advocating for animals around the world and operating the Australia Zoo.

We always love seeing updates from them, whether its a family milestone or just a cute animal pic.

And it’s been an exciting time for Bindi Irwin lately, who married her husband Chandler Powell last year and in March welcomed her first child, a baby girl named Grace Warrior Irwin Powell.

After sharing many updates about her new baby in recent months — who has been carrying on the family legacy by meeting some animal friends — Bindi announced last month that she would be taking a break from social media.

But recently, she returned to the web, delighting fans with some more pics of baby Grace and her pets.

Yesterday, Bindi shared her first Instagram post in a few weeks, with an album of photos of the family taking Grace, who will soon be four-months-old, out in nature.

And it seems like the youngest member of the Irwin family is already quite the “Wildlife Warrior,” feeling right at home in nature.

“Our beautiful angel has started giggling all the time and absolutely loves nature walks, looking for wildlife with us,” Bindi wrote on Instagram.

And another heartwarming photo has the whole family, including Bindi’s mother Terri and brother Robert (all dressed in those familiar khaki uniforms) in front of a Bird Garden bearing her name.

Bindi, who has a large social media following including 4.7 million Instagram followers, announced last month that she would be taking a mental health break from social media.

The announcement came after Bindi said her grandfather Bob Irwin had “psychologically abused” and neglected her since she was a child. The admission came after fans noticed she did not mention Bob in a Father’s Day post.

“I’m taking a break from social media and most of my work in the public eye for a month to be with my beautiful daughter and my wonderful family. I feel tremendously grateful to share our life and conservation work with you but I need some time to focus on the happiness that is my family (both human and animal),” she wrote on Instagram.

But while Bindi was on break from the spotlight, fans were still able to get a few updates, thanks to her husband Chandler — and their dogs.

Bindi and Chanlder own two dogs, Stella and Piggy, who have their own Instagram page.

Some new photos posted this week show that Grace and Piggy have become fast friends:

We hope new mom Bindi is doing well, and are glad to see her back on social media with so many precious family photos!
