Smart Dog Alerts Owner To Injured Eagle

Injured bald eagle rescue caught on camera after a smart dog alerted his owner to the stranded bird on an Ohio riverbank. The eagle was safely secured and taken to wildlife rehab. A routine walk along the Olentangy River turned into an incredible wildlife rescue when Spencer the dog discovered an injured bald eagle and alerted Monica. Duane carefully approached the frightened bird, secured its powerful wings and helped place it inside a box for safe transport. Thanks to Spencer, Monica and Duane, the eagle received the care it desperately needed.
