According to a Facebook post from the Orlando Fire Department, firefighters from Engine 4 responded to a call about ducklings trapped in a storm drain.

They opened the grate and one of the firefighters stepped inside, carefully pulling the ducklings to safety.

According to the post, all eight ducklings were safely removed.

Not only did they help the ducks get to safety, they made sure they would be safe by sticking around for a bit to make sure the ducklings were reunited with their mom.

These firefighters saved this family of ducks, and were praised online by animal lovers for going above-and-beyond, making sure they were all okay.

It’s just the latest animal rescue for the Orlando Fire Department: just days earlier, firefighters pulled two dogs from a working fire, and the dogs seemed very grateful for their help:

Firefighters can always be counted on to help an animal in need. Thank you to this crew for saving these beautiful ducklings and helping them reunite with their mom! 🐤❤️
