This man was taking those majestic clydesdales for a walk: Now keep your eyes on that little baby horse

One of the most blessed and beautiful countries in the world is Scotland.

With its full-figured glens and heathery hills, Scotland is one of the most magnificent places on Earth.

The Clydesdale Horse is the pride of Scotland and the big horses were originally bred in the eponymous Clydesdale region to pull heavy loads.

But how did the Scots manage to breed the Clydesdale horses and how did they ended up crossing the pond to become famous through the Budweiser marketing?

The video below features the life of St. Louis Clydesdale horses and how they became famous. Practically, they are born and raised up in Warm Springs Ranch, a farmland which has enough space for them.

But the story of the Budweiser Clydesdales started back in 1933.

When Franklin Delano Roosevelt repealed Prohibition, the near-decade ban on alcohol was lifted, and Anheuser-Busch, today the largest brewing company in the world, celebrated by premiering their beautiful new horse team.

The horses was a triumphal gift to August Anheuser-Busch from his son, August Anheuser-Busch Jr.

August Anheuser-Busch Jr. chose the massive horses because they had become a powerful symbol of strength and perseverance.

This was especially true among Scottish farmers who had immigrated to Canada and America and brought their powerful horses with them.

They were sent across the country, ending their tour by bringing a case of beer to FDR at the White House.

And from that moment on, Clydesdales were a big, powerful symbol linked strongly to the brand.

In the 1950s, the horses even received their first-ever mascot, a Dalmatian dog.

Their fame in the Super Bowl adverts started about 30 years ago. In 1987, they began to appear in Super Bowl commercials and that tradition is still going strong today.

Since that time to the present day, the Clydesdales have become part and parcel of the annual celebration of commercials and sport.

I couldn’t resist watching the clip below when I saw a Clydesdale fowl in front of the cameras doing his thing.

What a breed of horses that even know how to kiss a man…

You can also see that the baby horses are really eager to mature quickly – so that they can do what their parents are doing.
