Viral video shows a loyal dog pushing his owner in a wheelchair

We could all use a dog in our lives, but for people with disabilities, a loyal pet dog can be a life-changer. Dogs can be specially trained to help disabled people in their day-to-day lives, such as guide dogs leading blind people.

But one viral video shows something extraordinary, as a dog helps a man in a wheelchair get around town by pushing him.

The video, shared on TikTok by a user named Brenda Briones, shows the loyal dog pushing the man’s wheelchair from behind:

There is no information about the man, but from the video it appears that he is unable to walk and unable to push the wheelchair with his arms.

But the loyal dog is happy to give him a push — and he even knows when and where to stop.

In the video, the dog stops before a busy street until traffic subsides, then gets back behind the wheelchair and safely guides his owner across:

The heartwarming, unbelievable moment wowed local bystanders, including Brenda, who can be heard saying “Oh, how beautiful” as she records.

The video also warmed hearts online: it went viral on TikTok, with over 31 million views.

Nothing is known about the man or his dog. It isn’t clear how regular a routine this is, though it definitely seems like the dog knows what he’s doing.

From the video, the dog seems patient, loyal, and happy to help, and we’re sure his owner appreciates all the love and assistance.
