Shelter dogs wear matching pajamas and have a sleepover to win over adopters with their cuteness

There are so many dogs in shelters waiting for their forever homes that sometimes it can be hard to stand out from the pack.

And when that’s the case, sometimes you have to go the extra mile, doing something really cute to win people’s hearts.

Like these two adorable dog buddies, who have the perfect plan to charm possible adopters just in time for the holidays.

That plan: matching pajamas!

Niles and Frasier are two brother dogs in the care of the City Dogs Cleveland animal shelter.

While life in a shelter can be lonely, these dogs always have each other’s backs and keep each other company. City Dogs Cleveland says they wrestle and play together all the time.

They’re so close that it became clear that they were “bonded” — as in, they needed to be adopted together.

“Niles and Frasier are both very good boys who are clearly meant to be together,” City Dogs Cleveland wrote. “They so obviously love each other’s company and get along great!”

While it’s always great to have a friend, being bonded can make it harder to get adopted — you need to find a family willing to take in not one but two dogs at once.

Niles and Frasier needed a little extra help. While many shelters post pictures of their residents to get the word out and showcase how cute they are, volunteers went the extra mile for their photoshoot.

They got the dogs matching pajamas, and got a hotel room for an absolutely adorable photo session.

The trip also gave them some time outside the shelter, giving them their own big comfy bed (something many shelter dogs never experience).

The shelter writes that the dogs loved “loafing around and cuddling” while also getting into some antics and exploring.

The night out also showed that the dogs were ready to be in a home.

“They are generally polite and easy to manage; Frasier can get a little over-excited but settles down nicely,” City Dogs Cleveland wrote. “Both were very tolerant of bath time, and did well in the car once they got the hang of the whole moving vehicle thing.”

The dogs weigh about 50 pounds each and are five years old.

Their carers hope that, with their adorable looks and fun personalities, they will be able to find someone willing to take them both in as a pair.

“Niles and Frasier are two good boys patiently holding out for a home they can share together,” the shelter wrote. “We think they will bring a lot of love and entertainment to their forever home!”

If you’re in the area and are interested in taking these beautiful dog brothers home, you can schedule a meet-and-greet!

Hopefully these dogs find their forever home soon! Let’s help spread the word, share this adorable story!
