Dog's owner neglected her and tried to kill her three times

It’s hard to imagine the horrors some animals have endured before they eventually find safety.

So many animals are trapped in abusive homes unable to escape, usually out of loyalty to their owner.

Thankfully one dog managed to escape a horrific home life where she was not only neglected but her owner tried to kill her – three times.

No more details have been released about the upsetting circumstances Molly the dog found herself in before she was rescued by South African organization Sidewalk Specials.

The Cape Town-based charity rescues dogs from abusive situations and off euthanasia lists and is 100 percent foster based.

Staff from the organization posted a video of this sweet hound snoring through her first safe sleep in her new foster home.

Thankfully Molly escaped from her abusive background with just a skin condition, which was easily treated.

Seeing pictures of her today in her new home it’s hard to believe it’s the same dog, her healthy white coat and content expression shows just how far she’s come with love and the right care.
