Dogs having hearts as warm and compassionate as humans is nothing new. They are also known for their amazing ability to listen, follow instructions, but also take their own initiative and understand what’s right and wrong.
This dog proves he has all of this when he spots two chickens buried in the snow.
The chickens were stuck in deep snow with only their heads showing. Even solid snow can look soft, but when it’s this deep it’s easy for small animals to get stuck. And these two chickens had nowhere to go but await their fate.
But this superhero dog had no intention of leaving these animals to suffer. When he saw them helpless in the snow, he decided to act immediately.
Started digging
The dog went straight to the chickens and began to dig around them with his paws. He worked hard in pushing away he snow with his paws – and slowly but surely the hens began to appear in the snow masses.
His owner was filming him rescuing the two feathered friends without any need to intervene. This wonderful dog had got it covered! At last, the chickens were freed from the ice-cold snow – and could return to the warmth of their pen.
This sweet dog is a real hero. And to me, once again, dogs show kinder hearts than we can ever imagine.
