Armed robbers break into house to steal baby, regrets it after meeting the family’s two pit bulls

Sometimes people act more like animals than animals themselves.

I wish this world was more peaceful and kind, but that’s a far cry, to be honest.

Take a look at this incredible story, for example.

Not all heroes wear capes. Some are four legged and have fur instead…

On Tuesday morning, Nayeli Garzon-Jimenez and Adolfo Angeles-Morales were on the phone together when a man and a woman broke into their home, according to WISH TV.

Nayeli heard a sound from the kitchen and Adolfo listened to what happened on the phone.

When she told him what was going on, Adolfo Angeles-Morales told his wife to check the door and identify the intruders.

“I hear the noise over my phone and she started screaming and crying, and said, someone just stuck their hand in the door.”

What did they robbers want? Some money. But what they took instead? Her baby.

The pair got inside and demanded money from the frightened mother, the New York Daily News reported.

Although she doesn’t speak English, she understood the request for cash — but didn’t have any to give.

The man demanded she give them money or they would take the baby.

Nayeli indicated she did not have any money – so the woman grabbed the 3-month-old baby from Nayeli’s arms.

“She fought with the lady, because she tried to go by the kitchen, and she held her by the shirt. Then guy come back and hit her with a gun”, Nayeli’s husband Adolfo said.

The woman ran to the back door with the baby, but that’s when one of the couple’s two dogs in the backyard stopped her from escaping with the infant.

The pit bull refused to let her through, they wouldn’t let her pass!

The large, gray pit bull snarled and chased the would-be kidnapper back inside.

“She try to run away through the back door, but one of our doggies – he didn’t let her go through the back door”, said Adolfo.

The woman then turned around and ran towards the front door and threw the baby back in Nayeli’s arms.

“Thank god everything’s okay, my baby and my wife,” said Adolfo.

Nayeli and their baby girl were taken to hospital and looked over. She received treatment minor cuts and bruises, but she and her baby are all right and safe at home thanks to their dog defending his family home.

This is why I love dogs!

Remember, dogs are pack animals. We are so lucky that they adopt us into their packs.

We protect them and they protect us in so many ways.

These pit bulls deserve some serious treats and a medal each for protecting their home and family from armed robbers.

Too bad they did not get to do a lot more damage to the piece of crap…
