All animals are beautiful and worth of love, even if they look a little different.
That’s definitely the case for one cat who had his ears removed, but is still living his best life with a loving family and best friend.
Meet Potato:
He’s missing both his ears, which were removed due to a medical condition.
“Potato’s ear flaps and canals were removed due to repeating ceruminous adenoma,” his owners wrote on Instagram. “He is brave and recovering well.”
While he certainly has a unique look, it doesn’t make him any less beautiful:
And despite his lack of ears, Potato can still hear.
His owners told Bored Panda that he was found as a stray on the streets of China, but they adopted him on April 25, 2019. They recently celebrated the date as his birthday, though they don’t know exactly when he was born.
In addition to his loving owners, Potato has a best friend and brother named Horlick:
And it’s clear that the two love each other a lot, despite their differences:
Despite everything, Potato is clearly loved dearly and living his best life.
