Fisherman spots strange movements in the reeves

A kind fisherman rescued an Asian Openbill after spotting the bird struggling in a swamp with its leg tangled in fishing line. The dramatic moment happened in Uttaradit Province, Thailand, when a fisherman named Mr Kong noticed the white bird fighting to stay above water while he was fishing near his home. The helpless bird had become trapped in a nylon fishing line and was unable to fly away. Realizing the bird could drown, the fisherman carefully approached and used his fishing rod to help keep the bird’s head above the water. He then patiently untangled the line from the bird’s leg. After the fishing line was finally removed, the exhausted bird slowly stood up and spread its wings while recovering from the ordeal. Moments like this show how small acts of kindness can make a huge difference for animals in need.
